• Catch them off guard

  

  Revenge is a dish, best served cold. Similarly, you need to catch a person off guard when you want to know if they are lying or no. When a person knows that they are going to be questioned, they will be prepared mentally. However, if you catch them off guard, they will surely fumble and stumble because they did not see it coming.

• Lying – Watch their body language

  

  Actions speak louder than words. Even if the person is answering every single question of yours, there is still a chance that the person can be lying. Make sure you take a close look at their body language. If they are fidgeting with their hands, legs or hair, then there is a high chance that the person is lying.

• Watch their eyes

  

  They say “Look me in the eye” for a reason. It is said that if a person is lying it is difficult for them to maintain eye contact. Their eyeballs will wander around the place. Make sure you maintain eye contact at all times in such cases. If they are avoiding eye contact, then there are high chances that they can be lying.
