  • Bath daily

This will promote healthy skin and also reduce the chances of body odor. Using an antibacterial soap will benefit you greatly, but make sure the soap is not harsh on your skin.
  • Use antiperspirant rather than deodorant
There is a huge difference between antiperspirants and deodorants. Deodorants do not prevent sweating, but just cover up for the smell caused by sweating. Antiperspirants prevent sweating and some also come with the benefits of deodorants. An antiperspirant must be applied before going to bed. The antiperspirant penetrates in your skin which prevents sweat from arises the next day. Not to forget carrying a good perfume around is a must.
  • Watch your diet
The food that you eat also has a role to play here and rather a larger role to play. Foods with a pungent smell are more likely to cause body odor. Onions, Garlic and Asparagus are a few of the foods that can cause body odor.
  • Wear the right fabric
Wearing fabric that is easy on your skin can help your skin breathe and prevents the sweat accumulation that causes body odor. Wearing cotton clothes or other breezy fabrics can prevent odor greatly.
  • Wax it off
Your underarms are more likely to sweat compared to the rest of your body parts, and having hair in such places is just going to make it worse. Males as well as females should wax their underarms regularly; this will discourage body odor and bacteria greatly.
